All is Gone
It's never been easy,
yet day by day, I do live, yet after that day, all is gone. Men in suits come and tell me to leave, they say it's not legal, but I don't understand law. Each day I sit here and sell things, earn little money, not a lot in total or barely any, yet it's what I rely on. |
I'm old, slow and have trouble hearing, or for other reason, I irritate these men. They shout at me and push me, I say I'll hurry up. Perhaps they happen to be in bad mood? I got hit hard and they take all my goods. I beg and knee down, what they take is all I have. Ignore me, laugh and kick at me, they leave. I sit on the ground, crying in silence For them, this is an ordinary day, For me, I lost everything in this day, all is gone. |
